Markus Albert, the head of the Civil, Order and Traffic department in Obertshausen, recently celebrated his 25-year service anniversary. This milestone was marked by a heartfelt ceremony attended by the city's mayor, Manuel Friedrich, department head Hendrik van Eck, and personnel council member Gerhard Biehrer.

The journey for Albert began in 1999, when he started his professional career as an administrative services clerk in the city of Seligenstadt. After 16 years of dedicated service in the Public Order and Environment department, he moved to Obertshausen in June 2018 and assumed the deputy leadership of his current department.

Mayor Friedrich presented Albert with the official certificate to commemorate his significant achievement. In his speech, Friedrich praised Albert's calm and considered working style, highlighting the challenges they have faced together, such as the city's jubilee parade in 2019 and the complex regulations during the Corona pandemic.

Friedrich also expressed his anticipation for their continued cooperation, expressing confidence in Albert's leadership in managing the responsibilities that include the city police, citizen service, fire and disaster protection, and business matters.

Albert's contributions extend beyond administrative duties. He has been instrumental in planning disaster protection measures and redesigning the homeless shelter in Obertshausen. His dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, as evident by the congratulations from his colleagues and the city's leadership.

During his tenure in Seligenstadt, Albert continued his education, becoming a senior administrative services clerk and a registrar. This commitment to personal and professional growth reflects in his work in Obertshausen.

Reflecting on his achievement, Albert expressed his gratitude for the recognition of his service. He looked ahead with motivation, expressing his eagerness to serve the city of Obertshausen in the coming years.
