Eurojackpot: Massive 120 Million Euro Jackpot Finally Claimed in Baden-Württemberg

Huge Eurojackpot Win: 120 Million Euros Heads Southwestward - Massive Eurojackpot Prize of €120 Million Headed Towards South West Regions

The Eurojackpot, boasting a whopping 120 million euros, has found its lucky winner in Baden-Württemberg. This staggering win marks a new record in German lottery history. The lucky numbers drawn were 1, 5, 27, 36, 43, with Euro numbers 5 and 9. Westlotto, the lottery operator, announced the winning combination following the Helsinki draw.

Originally, this colossal jackpot was won in July 2022 by a Danish player, with the prize money being the game's maximum amount. In November 2022, a Berlin resident set a new German lottery record, followed by Schleswig-Holstein claiming the jackpot in June 2023. Norway held the jackpot in January 2024, and Denmark reclaimed it the previous June.

Westlotto noted that Baden-Württemberg's latest win surpasses the previous high of 90 million euros, which was set in October 2016. It's worth mentioning that jackpots are often shared among multiple winners. In April, players from North Rhine-Westphalia and Slovenia split a 60 million euro prize, while in December 2024, jackpot winners from North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate shared the pot.

In addition to the main jackpot, numerous players in the second winning category also stand to pocket substantial winnings. Five lucky participants from Lower Saxony, Norway, Estonia, Finland, and Slovakia will each receive approximately 4,846,236.80 euros. The second prize pool is currently around 21 million euros due to the jackpot capping at 120 million euros.

The Eurojackpot is a transnational European lottery played across various countries, including but not limited to Germany, Denmark, Norway, and North Rhine-Westphalia. Run twice weekly, Tuesday and Friday evenings, the lottery features 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 supplementary Euro numbers from 1 to 12. If all 5 main numbers plus both Euro numbers match the draw, players win the jackpot. With the top prize starting at 10 million euros and a cap of 120 million euros, the undistributed money from the first win is added to the jackpot for the following draw.

If you're interested in participating, remember that your odds of winning the grand jackpot are approximately 1 in 140 million. Good luck!
