Medical institution JMI establishes Apollo Clinic in Dhaka city
Apollo Clinic, a subsidiary of the renowned Apollo Hospitals chain, has made its debut in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The hospital chain, which is the largest in South Asia, is now expanding its footprint beyond India.
The formal inauguration ceremony was held at a hotel in the capital, with Md Abdur Razzaq, Founder and Managing Director of JMI Group, chairing the event. Attendees included Abdul Muktadir, President of Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries, and Dr Md Zakir Hossain, Secretary General.
The clinic's official opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and cake unveiling on Sat Masjid Road, Dhanmondi. JMI Specialised Hospital Limited, a subsidiary of JMI Group and a listed company of JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Limited, manages the operations of the clinic.
Md Abdur Razzaq stated that Apollo Clinic would maintain service standards similar to Apollo India. The clinic offers specialist consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy services, and advanced facilities including a 100-bed admission ward, ICU, NICU, PICU, day-care chemotherapy, and dialysis.
Tarun Gulati of Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited praised JMI as one of Bangladesh's strongest healthcare brands. He also announced that Apollo Clinic is now officially in Bangladesh, expanding Apollo's network further. Tarun Gulati also commended JMI's plans to expand similar facilities to other parts of Bangladesh.
The inauguration was attended by leading physicians, senior officials of JMI Group and Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, employees, and media representatives. Apollo Clinic in Bangladesh combines advanced technology with leading doctors, skilled nurses, and efficient management staff to provide world-class healthcare at a fair cost.
