Medical Institution Undergoing Treatment and Care Operations
In the early hours of Wednesday (17.03.), a physical altercation took place in the city centre of Neuss (Zollstraße) around 02:40 AM. According to preliminary reports, the altercation involved several men, one of whom was a 30-year-old man who was physically assaulted and kicked.
Three suspects aged between 30 and 39 were arrested at Promenadenstraße following the incident. Initial breathalyzer tests suggested that the suspects were significantly intoxicated. Medical blood samples have been ordered for further investigation.
The victim sustained severe injuries that required hospital treatment but were not life-threatening. One of the alleged attackers also injured himself during the altercation. A homicide commission has been established under the leadership of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss police headquarters.
