Mengniu Dairy Seeing Strong Growth and Expansion

Mengniu Dairy, a leading Chinese dairy company, is experiencing significant growth and expansion, as indicated by recent financial reports and strategic partnerships.

In a positive development for the company, several institutional investors such as JPMorgan, DBS Group, and Shenwan Hongyuan have increased their holdings in Mengniu Dairy and issued "Buy" ratings for the stock. This vote of confidence from prominent financial institutions suggests a positive outlook for Mengniu's future performance.

One of the key drivers of Mengniu's international growth is Bellamy's Organic Infant Formula, a strategic partner that holds a significant presence in the Southeast Asian premium maternal and infant market. Bellamy's is contributing significantly to the upgrade and optimization of Mengniu's global business system, as evidenced by the strong growth momentum it is showing in the region.

Another subsidiary of Mengniu Dairy, Aice Ice Cream, is also making strides in international markets. Aice entered the Indonesian market in 2015 and has since grown to generate over RMB 2 billion in annual revenue. The company has distributed nearly 600,000 freezers across rural Indonesia, covering approximately 400,000 retail outlets. Aice Ice Cream currently holds a 34% market share in Indonesia, ranking first in the market.

In addition to its success in Indonesia, Aice Ice Cream also ranks second in the Philippines and has climbed to the number two position in Vietnam's ice cream sector.

Mengniu Dairy's financial performance is also impressive. The company reported revenue of RMB 41.57 billion for the first half of 2025, with an operating profit of RMB 3.54 billion. The operating profit margin improved by 1.5 percentage points to 8.5%, and the operating cash flow grew by 46.2% year-on-year.
