Michael Jackson's nephew, Paris Jackson, publicly criticized Colman Domingo and the upcoming biopic about her uncle's life.

Paris Jackson, the 27-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has distanced herself from the upcoming biopic about her father, titled "Michael." The film, which stars Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson and Jaafar Jackson as Michael himself, has been met with controversy.

Last weekend, both Colman Domingo and Paris Jackson attended the amfAR benefit gala at the Venice Film Festival. However, their interactions off-screen seem to have been less harmonious. Colman Domingo claimed that Paris was "very helpful" during the production of the film, but Paris disputed this claim, stating on her Instagram story that she had "0% involvement" in the project.

Paris's criticism of the biopic began when she addressed her notes on the script's first draft, but felt they were not addressed by the production team. She believes the film is "sugar-coated" and inaccurate, and she has also criticised it for catering to a specific section of Michael Jackson's fandom.

The controversy surrounding the biopic escalated when it was revealed that the third act had to be reshot due to its depiction of the family accusing Michael of child abuse, which allegedly violated a settlement from the '90s. Paris has been vocal about her disapproval of the film, labelling it as inaccurate and containing lies.

Despite her criticism, Paris expects the biopic to be popular among fans. However, her relationship with Michael Jackson's fans has been affected due to her outspokenness. Some fans have labelled her as "rude" and having an "attitude."

The release date for the first part of the biopic is yet to be announced, but it is set to be released next year. Colman, in an interview, also claimed that Paris and her brother, Prince, were "very much in support of our film." However, Paris has not confirmed this statement.

Paris, on the other hand, prefers honesty over sales and monetary gain. She has made it clear that she would rather see an accurate portrayal of her father's life, rather than a film that caters to the fans' desires at the expense of truth.
