Michigan targets additional 10 offshore gambling platforms for legal action

Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) orders halt to operations for 10 unauthorized online gambling platforms under their latest crackdown.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has stamped its foot down on 10 shady offshore gambling sites in its latest crackdown on illegal gambling activities. These websites, all owned by Apex Dynamics Ltd, have been hawking unlicensed gaming and betting products to unsuspecting players within the Great Lakes States.

Saying Adieu to Apex Dynamics Ltd

Apex Dynamics Ltd and its grinning grin of websites have been slapped with cease-and-desist letters by the MGCB. The regulator considers these unregulated entities a big fat no-no in Michigan.

The list of websites includes the smarmy Aladdin's Gold Casino, the flashy All Star Slots, the bumbling Buzz Luck, the glam Club World Casinos, the stealthy CryptoReels, the high-nooning High Noon, the Lucky Red Casino, the Manhattan Slots Casino, the reel-spinning ReelSpin Casino, and the slotter Slotter Casino.

Stepping on State Laws

The stinking stench of the lawbreaking these sites have risen to the nose of the MGCB, which says they've breached multiple state laws. These include the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Michigan Penal Code.

These 10 websites have been handed the customary 14-day ultimatum to pump the brakes or face the consequences. The letters were dished out on March 24.

The MGCB has been on a roll when it comes to quashing unlicensed entities. Michigan is one of the US states with a burgeoning online casino scene, which has spurred the regulator into high gear when it comes to nabbing unlicensed operators. The MGCB took a swipe at MyBookie, a prominent offshore operator, back in February, along with nine other offshore gambling sites.
