Motor vehicle collision in Gladbeck leaves motorcyclist critically harmed
In the early hours of this morning, an accident occurred at the intersection of Buersche Straße and Erlenstraße in Recklinghausen.
According to the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen, a 45-year-old car driver from Oer-Erkenschwick was involved in the incident. The driver was attempting to turn left from Buersche Straße onto Erlenstraße around 7:45 AM.
Unfortunately, the accident involved a 46-year-old motorcyclist from Gladbeck who was seriously injured. The motorcyclist was traveling on Buersche Straße towards Gelsenkirchen at the time of the accident.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the car driver was unharmed. The estimated material damage from the accident is around 6,000 euros.
