Motorcycle rider sustains injuries from crash with a delivery van
Yesterday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred in Planterwald, involving a transporter and a motorcyclist. The incident took place at approximately 15:10, near the intersection of Köpenick Road and Bulgarian Street.
According to the investigation being handled by Police Directorate 3 (East)'s specialized traffic crime unit, the transporter driver turned right onto Bulgarian Street from Köpenick Road. It is alleged that the driver collided with the motorcyclist on this same street.
The motorcyclist, aged 65, sustained trunk injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital for further treatment. The current status of the transporter driver is unknown.
Before the collision, the transporter driver is said to have changed lanes on Bulgarian Street. The location of the collision was on Köpenick Road, which intersects with Bulgarian Street.
