Motorcycle Rider Sustains Severe Injuries per Bill No. 0577

Yesterday afternoon, a 58-year-old motorcyclist was involved in an accident on the A27 highway at the Horn interchange. The incident occurred on the on-ramp heading towards Hannover.

According to the Bremen Police, the motorcyclist lost control of his Honda bike, causing him to veer off the road, and his rear tire slipped sideways. The motorcyclist then collided multiple times with the guardrails.

Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene, providing immediate treatment to the injured motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was later taken to a hospital after suffering multiple injuries in the accident. Fortunately, there was no risk to the motorcyclist's life.

The accident resulted in the complete closure of both the Horn on-ramp and off-ramp for the duration of the police accident investigation. Despite the closure, only minor traffic delays were reported.

Damage to the motorcycle and several guardrails was estimated in the five-digit range.
