Motorcyclist from Dinslaken dies at 25 in road accident

In a heartbreaking incident, a 25-year-old motorcyclist from Oberhausen lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred in Dinslaken early on Wednesday morning. The accident took place at the Ober-Lohberg-Allee / Oberlohberg-Allee roundabout, near the Wesel District Police Headquarters.

According to the police, the motorcyclist failed to navigate the roundabout, leading to the accident around 04:00 on Ober-Lohberg-Allee towards Bergerstraße. The impact and subsequent fall resulted in severe injuries, and despite wearing a helmet, the motorcyclist tragically died at the scene.

The specialized accident investigation team from the police has begun on-site investigations to determine the cause of the accident. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Duisburg has ordered an autopsy to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the motorcyclist's death.
