Motorway Accident Near Neuss: Collision Between Vehicle and Tree Leads to Serious Injuries for Female Driver
On Sunday, September 7, 2025, a single-vehicle accident occurred on the A 46 near Neuss at 06:20 AM. The incident involved a woman from Meerbusch driving a Mercedes, who is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the ongoing investigation, the woman lost control of her vehicle in the curve of the Uedesheim exit and collided with a tree. As a result, she was severely injured and was immediately hospitalized.
Blood samples were taken from the woman, and a subsequent alcohol breath test administered by the police was positive. Consequently, her driver's license was confiscated.
