In a thrilling heads-up battle, Moussa Ahmad emerged victorious at the GG Million$ tournament, which was part of the 2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series, held at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.

The final hand of the event saw Ahmad and Jamil Wakil locked in a tense standoff. The flop was dealt, and Ahmad made a bold move, going all-in. Wakil, who had led for much of the final nine players, responded with a three-bet. Ahmad, undeterred, called, setting the stage for an exciting showdown.

The turn brought a King, keeping the title with Wakil. However, the river delivered a 6♣, giving Ahmad a flush and the win. Wakil, with a disappointed look, revealed his cards - 10♥ 10♦ - while Ahmad showed his winning hand, 8♣ 3♣.

Ahmad's victory marked a significant moment in the tournament, as he closed the gap to the leader and made some significant moves early in the final. His opponents, including Wakil, Stefan Kiwisch, and Krasimir Yankov, were all notable players at the table.

Krasimir Yankov, who had been making waves in the tournament, eliminated Ohad Geiger and sent Chen to elimination shortly after. Orhan Ates was also eliminated by Stefan Kiwisch, reducing the field to six. Weiran Pu's tournament ended when he lost to Ahmad with ace-queen against ace-king.

In the earlier stages of the tournament, Ahmad eliminated Kiwisch, while Ahmad's early win in the series earned him the first title. The Onyx Player of the Series leaderboard is significant, as the leader will win a $110,000 package to play at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea.

In the end, it was Ahmad who took home the $1,000,000 first prize, while Wakil had to settle for a $650,000 consolation prize in second place. Stefan Kiwisch took third place, winning a $400,000 prize.

With this win, Moussa Ahmad added another impressive title to his poker resume, further cementing his status as a formidable player in the world of high-stakes poker.
