Movie earnings on Day 3 for Baaghi 4: Tiger Shroff's production remains steady over the weekend, nearing the 30 crore mark
In the world of Bollywood, the action-packed film Baaghi 4 has been making waves since its release on 5 September. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is directed by A. Harsha for his Hindi directorial debut.
The film, which follows the story of a man who, after surviving an attempted suicide by train, descends into chaos as reality blurs, boasts an impressive cast including Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir.
The film's opening day was promising, with a net collection of ₹12 crore. However, the earnings took a dip on Saturday due to the #GaneshVisarjan festivities in several parts of the country, as reported by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Despite this, the film managed to earn ₹9.25 crore on its second day, marking a 22.92% decline.
However, the story takes a turn on Sunday. The morning shows of Baaghi 4 had an occupancy of 8.75%, while the afternoon shows saw a significant rise to 28.81% occupancy. This rise continued into the evening, with the film registering an overall 18.78% Hindi occupancy across theatres on Sunday.
This promising trend is expected to continue, with Baaghi 4 projected to double its Day 3 earnings. The final Day 3 earnings will be announced after the night shows. The film is also projected to cross the ₹30 crore mark soon.
To encourage more viewers, a 50% off offer continues on Sunday for Baaghi 4, suggesting a discounted ticket pricing strategy.
With these promising figures, Baaghi 4 is clashing with The Bengal Files, which also released on the same date. The battle of the box office is yet to be seen. Stay tuned for updates on Baaghi 4's earnings and its journey at the box office.
