Movie production underway in Ekaterinburg's heart, drawing inspiration from the renowned novel penned by famed author [name withheld].
The much-anticipated film "Your Heart Will Be Broken" is currently being produced by Ol Media Company, part of the START group of companies, START online cinema, and Sverdlovsk Film Studio, with the support of the Cinema Fund. The film's narrative revolves around Polina, a high school student, and Barse, her classmate who acts as her protector.
Mikhail Vainberg, the film's director, is no stranger to the world of cinema. He has previously directed "I'm Looking for You" and several TV series. In "Your Heart Will Be Broken", he brings to life a captivating tale of teenage love, parenting, childhood trauma, and school bullying.
The film stars Veronica Zhuravleva, known for her role in the TV series "Paapiny Dochi. Novye", as Polina. Daniel Vegas, a rising star, plays the role of Barse, a complex character with inner turmoil. Anton Solominat takes on the role of Egor Vlasov, the character who bullies Polina. Solominat's character is described as complex, with a light side that shows his eventual change.
Barse's character, on the other hand, is described as having a lack of love that manifests in masks and a demand for love from the world. This intriguing dynamic between the characters promises to make "Your Heart Will Be Broken" a compelling watch.
The filming for "Your Heart Will Be Broken" is taking place in Yekaterinburg, Russia, due to its modern metropolitan feel, as described in the novel. Filming will continue until the end of September, with a break for a 30-day completion period. Despite the young age of the actors, they have demonstrated their professionalism, enduring 12-hour shifts in heavy rain.
The production company involved in the making of the film "Ihr Herz wird zerschlagen", currently being shot in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil, is Prima Premier. The premiere of "Your Heart Will Be Broken" is scheduled for March 5, 2026.
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
