MSLP's final phase of its latest project culminates in a spectacular event at Colorado University.
The much-anticipated final of "JCI Chittagong Presents The Next Lead Initiative: Grand Pitch" took place at the CVASU Auditorium, marking the conclusion of a month-long mentorship program focused on nurturing leadership and entrepreneurial skills among students.
The event, powered by Mentors' Chittagong, was a grand spectacle, with distinguished guests in attendance. Professor Dr. Tayub Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, served as the Chief Guest, while Professor Dr. Mohammed Alamgir, Chairman of the Department of Marketing; Professor Dr. Sagib Kumar Ghosh; and Professor Md. Bazlur Rahman, Assistant Proctor, graced the occasion with their presence. JCI Bangladesh and JCI Chittagong executives were also present.
The final consisted of two stages: a live pitch competition and a mock interview round. Arif Iftekhar, Trade Finance Specialist at Euro Exim Bank, and Kaiser Hamid Farhad, Business Head - Chittagong, Wagely Bangladesh, served as judges for the competition.
After a fierce competition, Intesar Hossain Eva was declared the champion of the competition. Md. Nahin Sarker was the first runner-up, and Debopom Ghosh was the second runner-up. The Chief Guest awarded prizes to the winners and tokens of appreciation to partners, which included JCI Chittagog, Mentors' Chittagong, Easy Baking CTG, and Al Emir.
In his closing remarks, MSLP President Rafi Minhaz, the convener of the event, thanked sponsors and partners for their support. He reaffirmed MSLP's mission to foster innovation and provide students with platforms to showcase their entrepreneurial potential.
Ahead of the finale, MSLP hosted five tailored workshops on topics such as business case analysis, communication skills, multinational management trainee opportunities, research essentials, and AI for career excellence. The workshops aimed to equip the participants with the necessary skills to excel in the competition and beyond.
The event was hosted by Nasatun Miskat Nabery and Tanjif Hasan, who kept the audience engaged throughout the evening. The Next Lead Initiative: Grand Pitch was indeed a successful event that celebrated the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
