Multifamily House in FW Hannover Suffers Kitchen Fire
In the heart of Hannover, Germany, a kitchen fire broke out in a sixth-floor apartment on Tuesday morning. The Fire Department Hannover and the rescue service swiftly responded to the smoke emission report and dispatched two fire trucks and the rescue service to the scene on Tollenbrink Street, Bothfeld district.
The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters using hoses. High-pressure fans were employed after the fire was under control to ventilate and remove smoke from the apartment unit. A total of 36 personnel with 16 vehicles from the fire department and rescue service were deployed for the operations.
Unfortunately, one person, a 90-year-old tenant, was lightly injured and was handed over to the rescue service for treatment and hospitalization.
