Multiple drones struck in the Voronezh region
In a recent development, Governor Alexander Gusev announced that approximately 13 drones have been shot down in the Buturlinovsk and Rossoshansky districts of the Voronezh region. The Russian air defense forces were responsible for bringing down these unmanned aerial vehicles.
On September 1, three Ukrainian drone aircraft were initially shot down over the territory of the Voronezh region. Since then, additional drones have been detected and neutralised. The total number now stands at 13.
Despite these drone attacks, there have been no reports of retaliation or escalation in response. No official statements have been made regarding the origin of the drones or their purpose, leaving their intended targets unclear.
The recent drone attacks have not resulted in any casualties or damage. Residents are not currently advised to take shelter indoors or move away from windows due to any spotted drones. However, they were previously urged to take shelter indoors and away from windows, and to move out of the line of sight of any spotted drone and call 112.
Following the recent drone attacks, an alert was previously declared in the Rossoshansky district due to an imminent drone strike. However, no new alerts have been declared in the district following these attacks. The threat of drone attacks in the Rossoshansky district continues to persist.
It's worth noting that a fire occurred in Luhansk after a previous drone attack. However, there are no reported drone attacks in Luhansk following the previous attack. The threat of drone attacks in the region remains.
Despite the ongoing situation, there have been no reports of any significant disruptions to daily life in the affected areas. The duty forces of the air defense system continue to monitor the situation and take necessary measures to ensure the safety of the residents.
