Vietnam Military History Museum Offers Free Entry for National Day Celebrations

In an exciting development, the Việt Nam Military History Museum in Hà Nội is offering free entry to visitors from August 30 to September 2, as part of the activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945-2025).

Located in Xuân Phương Ward, the museum is one of six national museums and a significant cultural attraction during the holiday period. The museum, a large-scale and modern cultural project, provides a deeper look into Vietnam's heroic tradition of the nation's struggle to defend the country.

With four floors above ground and one basement, the museum houses thousands of valuable artifacts and documents, and more than 60 video clips featuring major campaigns, battles, and historical figures. The exhibits cover the resistance wars against foreign invaders and the formation and growth of the Việt Nam People's Army.

To enhance the visitor experience, advanced technologies such as 3D mapping, search screens, and QR codes are used throughout the museum. The museum's purpose is to preserve and promote the quintessence of the nation's military cultural heritage.

The Việt Nam Military History Museum, the first museum established within the military museum network, is expected to become an important cultural institution. The museum welcomes both local people and foreign friends during this period.

Interestingly, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hà Nội will also offer free admission to visitors from August 30 to September 2, 2025, and has rebuilt its museum on an area of 386,600 square meters.

So, if you're in Hà Nội during these dates, don't miss out on this opportunity to learn more about Vietnam's rich military history. The Việt Nam Military History Museum is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
