Music School Camp in Vrchlabi, Czech Republic from June 16-22, 2025, featuring local concerts
The music schools of our city and Vrchlabi are set to unite once again for a memorable musical event in June 2025. The exchange, which has been a significant part of the partnership since 2004, will see young musicians from both cities presenting chamber and orchestral concerts.
The Chamber Concert, scheduled for June 18, 2025, at the Wehrkirche, our city-Kirchbauna, will feature chamber music works from various epochs. This year, there will be a special collaboration between the art schools of the two music schools, promising a diverse and captivating programme.
Following the Chamber Concert, the Orchestral Concert will take place at the Music School on June 20, 2025. The programme will present a variety of musical styles, with the joint symphony orchestra, the choir of the Vrchlabi Music School, and other ensembles coming together to create a harmonious symphony.
The visit weeks will not only include these concerts but also regular mutual visits in the Czech Republic and Germany, fostering cultural exchange and friendship between the students, parents, and teachers from both cities.
During their visit this year, the guests will be accommodated with German host families, offering a unique opportunity for cultural immersion.
Both concerts, the Chamber Concert and Orchestral Concert, are free for admission, making it an accessible event for everyone in our city.
