In the world of chocolate, excitement is brewing as several new flavours have hit the shelves in the UK. From classic brands like KitKat and Cadbury to lesser-known names like Terry's Chocolate, there's a treat for every taste bud.

KitKat has jumped on the festive bandwagon with a new gingerbread flavour. The bars are now available at Sainsbury's, with the caption on a Facebook post reading: "Gingerbread KitKats, out now at Sainsbury's." The response has been mixed, with some shoppers expressing interest and others voicing disappointment. One enthusiastic fan proclaimed, "It's good," while a disappointed shopper lamented, "I won't be trying them."

Cadbury has also joined the fray with two new offerings. The British market has welcomed the Dairy Milk Iced Latte, a bar that combines classic Dairy Milk chocolate with a creamy coffee filling and crunchy biscuit pieces. Another innovative creation is the Bournville bar with a chopped hazelnut flavour and luxurious salted caramel.

Terry's Chocolate has launched a rich caramel twist, and the new flavour is available at Co-op and Iceland for £2. The reaction among chocolate lovers has been varied, with some praising the new flavour and others expressing indifference.

Nestle has also made a comeback, with their cereal returning to shelves after being axed four years ago. Meanwhile, Mars has brought back its White Chocolate Maltesers after an 11-year absence.

The Christmas season has also seen the return of Quality Street tubs, which are now available in stores. As the year draws to a close, it seems the UK chocolate market is in for a sweet ride.
