Neglected driver causes injury to an eleven-month-old child while driving
In the Reutlingen district, a traffic accident occurred near the town of Münsingen. The incident, which took place on the B465 road, was caused by a 79-year-old driver who disregarded the right of way.
The unfortunate event involved a 33-year-old woman, an eleven-month-old child, and the 79-year-old driver himself. The 79-year-old driver, operating a Mercedes coming from Bremelau, attempted to make a left turn, which led to the collision.
As a result of the accident, the 33-year-old woman's car was pushed onto the opposite lane. Her vehicle came to a stop against the guardrail on the left side of the road. The 79-year-old driver's vehicle also sustained significant damage, estimated at 30,000 euros due to the impact and the damage to the guardrail.
The police reported that the 79-year-old driver was issued a citation for disregarding the right of way. All three individuals involved in the accident were taken to the hospital for treatment, with injuries sustained in the collision.
The police are currently investigating the details of the accident further. The accident resulted in significant damage to the infrastructure, adding to the overall impact of the incident.
