New Appointee as Country Leader for Tenable in Australia and New Zealand
Tenable, a leading cybersecurity company, has announced the appointment of Scott Magill as the Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Magill brings with him a wealth of experience in enterprise security and leadership, having previously held key roles at AppDynamics, Rubrik Inc., and other prominent companies.
In his new role, Magill will be responsible for driving business growth and strengthening channel partnerships for Tenable in the region. He will also lead Tenable's operations and strategy, with a focus on expanding the company's exposure management platform to meet the evolving needs of customers in the cloud landscape.
Tenable's exposure management platform is designed to help organizations identify and remediate security gaps caused by misconfigurations, risky entitlements, and vulnerabilities across various environments, including cloud, traditional IT, and operational technology (OT). Magill views Tenable as the most comprehensive exposure management platform, setting the pace in proactive security.
One of the key strategies Magill plans to implement is expanding visibility across IT and OT environments by incorporating third-party data. He believes this will be a game-changer for cybersecurity teams, providing them with full visibility across their attack surface.
Nigel Ng, senior vice president of Tenable Asia Pacific and Japan, made the statement about Magill's appointment. Ng expressed his confidence in Magill's ability to drive Tenable's strategic growth in exposure management and build strong, meaningful relationships with customers and partners.
Magill's deep expertise in enterprise security, spanning more than 25 years, will undoubtedly contribute to Tenable's mission to help organizations understand and reduce cyber risk. Tenable is also accelerating the expansion of its cloud capabilities to better serve its customers in the evolving cloud landscape.
Tenable aims to collaborate closely with its customers and partners to provide comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that cover cloud, identity vulnerabilities, traditional IT, and operational technology environments. With Magill at the helm, Tenable is poised for significant growth and success in the Australia and New Zealand region.
