New appointment announced: Geraldine White assumes role as the US Chief Diversity Officer at Publicis.

Publicis Groupe, a global leader in marketing and communications, has made significant strides in its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives with the appointment of Geraldine White and Renetta McCann to key roles.

Geraldine White, who currently serves as the US Chief Communications Officer at Publicis Groupe, has taken on an additional role as the U.S. chief diversity officer, effective June 2023. In her new position, White will oversee the Brain Trust, a Groupe-wide collective dedicated to developing and expanding DE&I initiatives, and guide the work done by Publicis Groupe's business resource groups (BRGs).

White's role will primarily focus on the Groupe's talent and workforce, where she will manage DE&I within the organisation. She will also run the talent engagement and inclusion council, a key component of Publicis Groupe's DE&I efforts.

White will work alongside Renetta McCann, who is the chief inclusion experience officer. McCann's role will involve providing DE&I counsel to clients, with a focus on bringing DE&I expertise and counsel to Publicis Groupe's clientele.

The appointments are part of Publicis Groupe's strategy to enhance its DE&I initiatives. The Brain Trust and BRGs, under White's guidance, will play a crucial role in this endeavour. The Brain Trust, in particular, is a key component of Publicis Groupe's DE&I efforts, serving as an internal collective dedicated to driving DE&I initiatives across the organisation.

Publicis Groupe is making a concerted effort to improve its DE&I efforts in multiple facets. The appointments aim to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation, demonstrating Publicis Groupe's commitment to fostering a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
