"New Eatery Serving Asian Cuisine Opens in Wiesbaden's Western District"
The highly-anticipated renovations at the newly-named Humami, located at Westendstraße 30, are still underway. The restaurant, which is set to offer a unique dining experience, is slated to open its doors in early to mid-September, replacing the former Mama Of Africa.
The founders of Humami, Huy Nguyen and his family, have a rich culinary background in the Rhine-Main region. They aim to provide an upscale dining experience, serving modern Asian cuisine inspired by Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and Thailand.
The menu at Humami features a variety of fresh, homemade dishes, with many vegan and gluten-free options. The renovations, which have been ongoing since the takeover at the beginning of July 2025, are aiming for a complete modern Asian style overhaul, including a new layout, furniture, and kitchen equipment.
In celebration of its grand opening, Humami is offering a special promotion. During the official opening week, customers who reserve in advance will receive a 15% discount on food and drinks. Additionally, guests with an Instagram check-in at Humami will receive a free dessert during this period.
However, the owners have not specified if these promotions will be permanent features after the official opening week.
Huy Nguyen and his family express their excitement to be part of Wiesbaden's culinary scene and invite everyone to experience the new dining destination once it opens its doors. The exact name of the restaurant is Humami, and while the exact opening date has not been confirmed yet, the earliest possible opening is set for Wednesday, September 14, 2025.
