New hires at Stuttgart's police headquarters
In a ceremony held on March 3, 2025, the Stuttgart Police Headquarters welcomed 74 new employees, including 39 police sergeants, one police master sergeant, one administrative employee, and 11 transfers from other police headquarters. The new recruits will be deployed at the eight police stations, the traffic police, and the deployment unit.
The new Police President of Stuttgart, Markus Eisenbraun, and the new head of the criminal police in Stuttgart, Fred Söhner, were also present at the event. Markus Eisenbraun assumed his position as Police President on September 1, 2025, while Fred Söhner was officially appointed as the head of the criminal police on November 29, 2023.
