New hotel-casino development proposed in Henderson, Las Vegas

The developer associated with Marnell Gaming Management, LLC, led by the Marnell family, is planning to build a new hotel-casino in Henderson, Nevada. Anthony Marnell III is spearheading the project, which is not located on the Las Vegas Strip but is situated several miles south of it.

The new hotel-casino, spanning approximately 35 acres of land, will be built directly across St. Rose from the M Resort, at the northeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway. The project documents list Marnell Gaming as the developer.

The resort will feature a casino, food hall, entertainment lounge, meeting and banquet space, and a pool deck. It is expected to include up to 600 rooms.

Eli Segall, from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is reporting on the plans for the new hotel-casino. Marnell expects to break ground on the new project in 3 to 5 years.

It is important to note that the M Resort, a project previously developed by Marnell Gaming more than 15 years ago, has been under different ownership for some time. However, the new hotel-casino is not expected to start construction soon.

A conceptual site plan for the project has been filed with the city of Henderson. The exact timeline for the project's progression remains uncertain, but the community eagerly awaits the development of this new addition to Henderson's landscape.
