New poker room set to launch at Foxwoods, Connecticut
Foxwoods Resort Casino, located in Connecticut, is set to introduce a new poker room next month. The renovation of the poker room, led by Todd Cravens, is aimed at providing a technological upgrade.
The casino's business announcement, made by Harriet Jones of Hartford Business, does not specify an exact opening date, but the grand opening is scheduled for September 9. On this day, live dealing will commence at 11:00 a.m.
The new poker room will be located in the Fox Tower, the casino's most recently renovated hotel, and will be situated near DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks. The room will feature 37 high-definition TVs showcasing live sports and poker, and will also include automated sign-up kiosks for added convenience.
However, details regarding the number of poker tables in the new room have not been disclosed. Neither has there been any information on whether the poker room will still be operated by Mashantucket Pequot.
In addition to the regular poker games, the grand opening day will offer additional prizes throughout the day. This upgrade to the casino's poker facilities is part of Foxwoods Resort Casino's ongoing efforts to enhance its gaming experience for visitors.
