The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit's first festival of the 2025/2026 season has come to a close at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. The event, which ran from July 16 to July 28, attracted a record-breaking field of 3,062 entries in the $300 Gargantuan event, making it the biggest festival of the series.
During the 17-day event, 18 rings were awarded across 17 events. Notably, the $400 Tag-Team Event saw dual winners, Kevin Perrydore and Stephen Sweny, who shared rings #9 and #10.
The Main Event, with a prize pool of $1,301,998, saw Alex Cruz emerge victorious, earning his first WSOPC ring and a prize of $241,412. Alex Rindone finished in second place, pocketing $160,932.
The festival also featured side tournaments, satellites, and cash games, in addition to the main events. The Gargantuan event offered a multi-bag bonus, with a cash payout of $500 for the second and third time a player bags in the event, and $1,000 for subsequent bags, potentially totaling up to $7,500 in bag bonuses.
As the WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant draws to a close, attention turns to the upcoming festivals in August. The WSOP Circuit Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina will start on August 7 and run until August 18. Simultaneously, the WSOP Circuit at Graton Resort & Casino (Bay Area, California) and the WSOP Circuit at Harrah's Atlantic City, New Jersey, both starting on August 14 and running until August 25, will also take place.
The final stop in August will be at Caesars New Orleans, with the WSOP Circuit Caesars New Orleans starting on August 21 and finishing up on September 1. The current WSOP Circuit schedule is filled out until the end of November, with four more events each month until then.
