A move to the Miami Dolphins seems unlikely at this point.
Head coach Mike McDaniel accepted Tagovailoa's poor performance but added that no one else played well either. The team's failure to make the playoffs in the 2024 season has also led to discontent among fans, with one posting, "Miami Dolphins need to trade for Shedeur Sanders."
Tyreek Hill, who made exit comments due to Tagovailoa's poor performance and the Dolphins' failure to make the playoffs, added to the tension. Some fans are already expressing their dissatisfaction with Tagovailoa's performance, with one fan writing, "Dolphins might be making that phone call about Shedeur by Week 3."
