A traffic accident occurred at the construction site on Wilhelm-Heinichen-Ring in Celle on August 24, 2025, at 1:30 AM. The Celle Police Station is currently investigating the incident, which is suspected to be a hit-and-run.

According to reports, the driver of a 36-year-old Nissan vehicle veered off the road, mounted a curb, and collided with a street lamp. The extent of damage to the street lamp is still unknown. The Nissan vehicle was totaled, with damages estimated at around 12,000 euros.

Thankfully, the woman involved in the accident sustained only minor injuries. She has not been identified publicly.
