Non-Established Agency Aids Children in Sharing their Pandemic Experiences through Artistic Exhibition at Museums

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is partnering with agency No Fixed Address (NFA) to present a groundbreaking exhibition titled #MyPandemicStory. This unique showcase, which is the first of its kind, aims to capture the perspectives of children and teens living through the pandemic.

The exhibition is a significant addition to the museum's ongoing documentation of the pandemic. It is the first to focus on the full suite of emotions associated with Covid, moving beyond the typical imagery of masks and ventilators to document a wide range of experiences related to the pandemic.

The art of children and teens is being exhibited at one of North America's most high-profile museums, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). The name of the child or adolescent whose artwork involving refrigerators transitioned to the museum is not publicly available. However, their contribution, along with many others, forms a powerful testament to the emotional journey of youth during the pandemic.

The collaboration between the ROM and NFA aims to provide a platform for these young artists to share their stories and experiences. The exhibition is a real-time experience, reflecting the ongoing nature of the pandemic and the continuous evolution of emotions it has prompted.
