Obstruction on Ring Roads A19 and A13
From Monday, September 1, 2025, to Friday, September 5, 2025, there will be significant changes to traffic and public transportation in the areas of County Roads AB 13 and AB 19 near Krombach, Schöllkrippen, Hofstädten, Schneppenbach, Reichenbach, Hohl, Heimbacher Mill, Sternberg, Mömbris, Rückersbach, Hutzelgrund, and Johannesberg.
Firstly, County Road AB 19 will be closed outside Krombach towards Schöllkrippen for road surface repair. Traffic will be detoured through Hofstädten and Schneppenbach. Affected residents will receive individual notifications regarding the closure, and updated timetables for bus lines 26 and 25 can be found at bus stops, on the VAB website, and in respective apps like DB Navigator. During the closure, bus line 29 will stop at "Kreuzgasse" instead of "Holzgasse." The "Kalmushof" bus stop will be temporarily unavailable.
Passengers from Rückersbach and Hutzelgrund must transfer to line 25 in Mömbris to continue to Johannesberg or Aschaffenburg. Local traffic to and from Sternberg will have restrictions during the closure of County Road AB 19. Access to the landfill near Johannesberg will remain open during the closure.
Simultaneously, County Road AB 13 will be closed from the outskirts of Rückersbach to the earth excavation and green waste landfill near Johannesberg for road surface repair. Traffic on County Road AB 13 during the closure will be detoured through Hohl, the Heimbacher Mill, Reichenbach, and Johannesberg.
