In Siegburg, Germany, on August 26, a 77-year-old man found himself at the centre of a traffic incident. At approximately 09:55, the man was driving a Toyota when he reversed into a parked Ford in a car park on Wilhelmstraße.

Two witnesses approached the man, informing him about the damage he had caused, but the man ignored them and left the scene. The incident was reported to the police, who later found the driver at his Siegburg residence.

Upon investigation, the police confirmed the man's involvement in a hit-and-run incident. As a result, his driver's license was seized, and he was prohibited from driving any vehicle requiring a license.

The damage to the parked Ford was estimated to be over 5,000 euros. The witnesses reported the incident to the police and provided the license plate number of the fleeing driver.

The news about the traffic accident in Siegburg was originally transmitted by the Rhein-Sieg District Police Headquarters. If you have further inquiries, you can contact them via phone at 02241/541-2222 or send an email to [email protected].

It was later reported that the man was seen driving his car on Wilhelmstraße three hours after the incident, which could lead to additional charges for driving without a license.
