In an incident that unfolded on August 2, 2025, a 14-year-old was arrested by a police officer in Fürth for driving a stolen Honda moped. The moped, which was originally taken in Fürth during mid-July, was identified as stolen during a routine patrol.

The incident took place around 19:30 in the Heilstättenstraße. The police officer stopped the teenager and conducted a check, which confirmed that the moped was indeed stolen.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the 14-year-old was not only driving the stolen moped but was also under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyzer test revealed a value of over 0.6 per mille, which is well above the legal limit for driving in Germany.

The teenager was also found to be driving without a license for the moped. Proceedings were initiated against the 14-year-old for driving without a license.
