Three bystanders aged 20, 23, and 31 were treated on the scene for shock, with the 20-year-old taken to a hospital for further treatment due to shock. The 31-year-old bystander was treated on the scene, while the 23-year-old was not hospitalised.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the 32-year-old man did not have a driver's license, the Kia was not insured, and he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers found and seized tranquilizers during his search. The Kia involved in the incident was impounded.
