Oncology screenings for Yakut residents become complimentary

In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), a significant step towards early cancer detection has been taken with the help of an innovative web platform called oncopoisk.sakha.rf. Developed by local oncologists, this platform is part of the regional project "Fighting Oncological Diseases in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" under the national project "Healthcare".

The federal project "Fighting Oncological Diseases", initiated by President Vladimir Putin, forms the backbone of this initiative. This project is also part of the national project "Healthcare", aiming to improve the overall health and well-being of the nation.

The oncopoisk.sakha.rf platform is designed to detect cancer as early as possible, facilitating prompt diagnosis and timely treatment. It covers six main types of cancer, including lung, liver, breast, colon, and prostate. To participate, users need to register on the website and fill out the provided questionnaires.

Over 23,000 Yakutians have already taken part in the survey, with 45 cancer cases detected through the platform. These cases were mostly at an early stage, increasing the chances of successful treatment. If a risk of cancer is detected, users are offered an examination at the Yakutsk Republican Oncological Dispensary.

The time and date of the examination are chosen by the user, ensuring convenience and comfort. The platform's purpose is to empower individuals to take control of their health and seek early help when needed.

It's important to note that the person who initiated the federal initiative "Fighting Against Cancer" of the national "Health" project is not publicly specified. Despite this, the initiative has gained significant traction in Yakutia, demonstrating the importance of early cancer detection and timely treatment.

In conclusion, the oncopoisk.sakha.rf platform is a valuable resource for Yakutians, providing a simple and accessible way to detect cancer early and improve overall health outcomes. The initiative is part of a larger national push to combat cancer and improve healthcare across Russia.
