Arnsberg Launches Study to Improve Parking Situation in Husten Neighbourhood

The city of Arnsberg has announced a detailed study aimed at improving the parking situation in the Husten neighborhood. The study, which will be conducted by the municipal urban planning department, will focus on key locations within the neighbourhood and will consider both the parking situation before and after the Husten Kirmes.

To gather feedback from residents, visitors, and local employees, the city has launched an online survey. The interactive survey, which can be found on the website Mobigator, features an idea map where suggestions, tips, and improvement proposals can be directly entered. The online survey will be active from September 22nd, 2025, to October 20th, 2025.

In addition to the online survey, counts of parking usage will be taken in three areas: the Husten neighborhood center, around the Arnsberg Clinic, and at the NASS leisure pool, on September 9th and 11th. These counts will provide valuable data to help determine how heavily the existing parking spaces are used in the Husten neighborhood.

The results of the online survey and the counts will be evaluated by the Hildener office "StadtVerkehr". Initial results are expected by the end of 2025. However, the study will not provide specific details about the proposed solutions to the parking issues in the Husten neighborhood.

The city of Arnsberg will address the parking situation in the Husten neighborhood starting from September. The study is one of the measures aimed at improving the parking situation in the neighbourhood. The city hopes that the study and the feedback gathered from residents will lead to a more efficient and effective use of parking spaces in the Husten neighbourhood.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the online survey and share their personal experiences about the parking situation in the Husten neighbourhood. The city of Arnsberg looks forward to hearing from the community and working together to improve the parking situation in the Husten neighbourhood.
