Online Therapy Sessions at St. Jodok Parish
In a commendable initiative, students from Nikolaschule are extending their digital expertise to the senior community in Freyung. The consultations, which began in October, will continue in January, February, and March, offering seniors a chance to navigate the digital world more comfortably.
The consultations will take place in the afternoons, specifically from 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM, in the Jugendamt building, Rathaus II, Luitpoldstraße 29b. The sessions will cover a range of topics, including everyday uses such as the DB Navigator app, Stadtwerke app, internet radio, and the digital Germany ticket. The students will also help seniors make their devices more user-friendly and provide assistance with email, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other apps.
During these visits, many questions about digital topics have been answered, and the students have been praised for their friendly demeanor and patience. On the last visit, seniors thanked the students for their digital expertise, expressing their gratitude for the help received.
