Open house event at the Primary Customs Office in Schweinfurt on July 13, 2024 - Customs office reveals depth of various assignments

The Main Customs Office, which covers the entire Lower Franconia and almost the entire Upper Franconia regions, has announced an open day at its Schweinfurt customs office on July 13, 2024. The event, which will take place from 10:00 to 15:00, aims to educate attendees about the tasks performed by the customs administration.

The open day will feature information stands on various topics related to customs work, such as revenue collection, customs duties, import and export clearance, enforcement of sanctions, species protection, smuggling prevention, illegal employment prevention, and the prosecution of criminal offenses and administrative offenses.

Highlights of the open day include demonstrations by customs dogs at 11:00 and 14:00, as well as displays of various control situations in different areas of customs enforcement. Interested parties can also learn about the requirements for employment, the course of training, and dual study programs at the customs office.

Activities for children are also planned as part of the open day. Food and drink will be provided during the open day.
