Outdoor Art Workshop: Land Trust Presents Plein Air Sketching Event

The Sheridan Community Land Trust is inviting the public to join a unique and enriching experience with their upcoming Discovery Session in Plein Air Sketching. This special event, taking place on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will be held at the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area, located at 14 Lane Ln.

This session is presented in collaboration with SAGE Community Arts and will be led by the talented artist, Randy Stout. Participants will learn skills to capture landscape images on paper, helping them to preserve, enjoy, and share their artwork.

Sketchbooks will be provided free of charge to registrants, but participants are asked to bring their own drawing utensils and a lawn chair or blanket to ensure comfort during the session. Registration is required to attend the session, and a link for registration can be found here.

The session is open to all, regardless of artistic ability, and is free of charge. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this is an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill and appreciate the beauty of the natural world around us.

Join us at the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area for an unforgettable evening of Plein Air Sketching, guided by the expert hand of Randy Stout. Click the registration link to secure your spot and embark on this creative journey. We look forward to seeing you there!
