Ozzy Osbourne Ascends Back to Top Spot in America's Music Charts

Ozzy Osbourne's iconic song "Crazy Train" has once again claimed the top spot on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. This marks the track's third week at No. 1, breaking a tie with "Ordinary Man" to become Osbourne's second-longest-running No. 1 hit on this chart.

Initially, "Crazy Train" made its debut on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart in January 2011, but it wasn't until November 2011 that it reached the No. 1 position for the first time. Since then, the song has maintained a significant presence on the chart, spending a total of 226 weeks.

Interestingly, "Crazy Train" has ruled longer than Ozzy Osbourne's "Mama, I'm Coming Home" on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, despite spending fewer weeks at the top. This is due to the recent four-week reign of "Mama, I'm Coming Home" at No. 1, which has surpassed any other Ozzy Osbourne song in terms of weeks spent at the top of the chart.

It's worth noting that "Mama, I'm Coming Home" peaked just last month on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. This week, the song has moved from No. 3 to No. 5 on the list.

Ozzy Osbourne's music has seen a surge in consumption following his death, with both Black Sabbath's and Osbourne's solo catalogues gaining considerably. However, as time goes by, more and more of his albums and tracks are sliding off the rosters.

"Crazy Train" has recently replaced "Specter" by Bad Omens at the No. 1 position on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. Other songs by Ozzy Osbourne that have spent a week at No. 1 include "Patient Number 9" with Jeff Beck, "Straight to Hell," and "Under the Graveyard."

Despite the fluctuation in rankings, it's clear that Ozzy Osbourne's music continues to resonate with fans, with "Crazy Train" being a prime example of this enduring appeal.
