In the heart of Nizhny Novgorod, the assembly hall of School No. 188 in the Sovietsky District played host to a poignant and powerful commemorative event on September 3. The day was chosen to live in peace and security, free from fear, and was marked as a day of remembrance, mourning, and a symbol of the city's unbreakable stance against evil.

The event began with a minute of silence to honour the innocent victims of terrorism, followed by several musical performances that added a melancholic yet hopeful tone to the proceedings. The program also featured a patriotic sand art display dedicated to the events in Beslan, a poignant reminder of the tragic impact of terrorism.

Roman Oznobishin, the deputy head of the Sovietsky District administration for social issues, spoke at the event, emphasising the importance of remembering that terrorism has no justification. He spoke of the tragic events in Beslan, Moscow, Grozny, and Kazan, and encouraged the attendees to remember the victims and their families in their thoughts.

Yevgeny Chintcov, the Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, also attended the event. In his speech, he urged young people to stay vigilant and seek help from adults in any unusual situation. Chintcov emphasised the importance of looking out for friends, not hesitating to ask for help, and helping others. He stated that bravery is not about taking risks, but about doing the right thing.

The event was attended by students, university students, teachers, guests, Tatiana Grinevich (a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region), and Father Nikita (Zakharov, the vicar of the Nagorny district). The purpose of the event was to honour the memory of innocent victims and thank those who protect them daily.

Despite extensive search results, no information was found about a person who participated in the commemorative event "Live" dedicated to the Day of Solidarity in the Fight Against Terrorism. However, the event was a powerful testament to the city's resolve to remember and honour those affected by terrorism, and to stand together in the fight against it.
