A disturbing incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on a regional train between Pinneberg and Altona Station, with a 29-year-old man being apprehended for allegedly threatening a 54-year-old man with a box cutter.

According to reports, the dispute started when the 54-year-old man asked the 29-year-old to lower his voice while on the phone. Despite the request, the younger man continued to speak loudly, prompting the older man to ask again. This time, the 29-year-old allegedly responded by pulling out a box cutter and extending the blade.

The incident escalated, with the 29-year-old man verbally abusing the 54-year-old and reportedly threatening him with the box cutter. A witness, who was also on the train, called the authorities, leading to a swift response from both Federal and State Police.

Upon arrival at Altona Station, the 29-year-old man was apprehended. A box cutter was found on his person. The alleged victim, the 54-year-old man, was located after the incident.

The Federal Police have taken over the investigation, but information on whether the Federal Police or State Police took over the manhunt team for the incident on the train between Pinneberg and Altona station is not currently available.

Initial reports suggested that the incident involved a threat against a woman, but further investigation has revealed that the victim was, in fact, a 54-year-old man. The incident occurred on a train to Hamburg.
