According to reports, the 27-year-old driver from Nettersheim was traveling on the L194 in the direction of Nettersheim-Roderath, intending to turn right. The 25-year-old driver, coming from Bad Münstereifel-Eicherscheid, was following the 27-year-old at the time of the collision.
