Pending Commission Decision on the Application of the Given Directive
A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday morning at around 09:00 on federal highway 1 near the exit Heiligenhafen Mitte. The incident involved a gray Mercedes, driven by a 42-year-old Ostholsteiner.
According to the police directorate in Lübeck, the Mercedes left the road due to a driving error and ended up lying on its roof on the highway. As a result, there was damage to the guardrail and the guardrail chain.
The driver and her 4-year-old child were freed from the Mercedes by the police and were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The accident investigation and towing process took approximately 25 minutes and concluded before 10:30. During this time, the right lane on federal highway 1 near Heiligenhafen Mitte was closed.
