Pharrell Williams in collaboration with Möet & Chandon reinvent birthday festivities
In a stylish collaboration, Pharrell Williams, the men's creative director for Louis Vuitton, has launched a new venture with Moët & Chandon. The partnership has resulted in the creation of a unique champagne collection, available at the Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar in Harrods.
The collection consists of three parts: 'A Jewel Masterpiece Jeroboam', 'The Bow Capsule Collection', and 'The Limited Edition Collection'. The latter includes Brut Impérial 75cl bottles in gift boxes in celebratory hues of gold, deep red, and midnight blue, embellished with Williams' pearled monogram.
The 'Limited Edition Collection' is a reimagined birthday bottle of champagne by Moët & Chandon, focusing on the people you share birthdays with. Pharrell Williams used Moët & Chandon's archives to design a series of champagne bottle caps for the collaboration.
'A Jewel Masterpiece Jeroboam' is limited to 30 hand-crafted pieces, with embellishments by artist Astrid de Chaillé and a detachable jewelled bow. The new champagne bottle design can also be purchased on harrods.com.
The 'Bow Capsule Collection' includes Brut Impérial in Midnight Blue Gift Box and The Grand Vintage Collection 2003 in Black, both magnum bottles with hand-crafted detachable bows. These bows can also be detached and worn as brooches.
While in Paris last month, Pharrell Williams had a new group show, 'Femmes', at Perrotin gallery, which pays homage to Black women. The collection was inspired by the signature tie on the bottle, which originally appeared as a bow in 1892.
Pharrell Williams stated that the best part about a birthday is the people who want to celebrate it with you. The specific date of the champagne bottle launch by Pharrell Williams and Moët & Chandon is yet to be announced.
It's not the first time Pharrell Williams has ventured into the world of luxury collaborations. In January, he released two new jewelry collections in collaboration with Tiffany & Co. The news of this latest partnership with Moët & Chandon is sure to excite fans of both Pharrell Williams and champagne enthusiasts alike.
