The drive to bring open banking to the United States is at a significant crossroads, with JPMorgan's announcement to charge for customer data access and Visa's decision to shutter its open banking division. Amidst this shift, a platform by Newgen Software is set to illuminate the path forward.

Newgen Software, a New Delhi-based company, offers an AI-first unified digital transformation platform. The platform encompasses native process automation, content services, customer engagement, and AI/ML capabilities. This comprehensive solution aims to empower companies to build and deploy complex, content-driven, and customer-engaging applications from the cloud.

As part of the event scheduled from September 8 to 10, delegates will have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the issues involved in the fight to make open banking a reality in the States. A special fireside chat will delve into the latest developments on the open banking front.

On the first day of the event, Monday, Sep 8, at 10:05 am, Mark Clancy, Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity at T-Mobile, will discuss network-based authentication. This innovative method verifies identity directly through the mobile network, eliminating the need for passwords, codes, and extra clicks. Mark's presentation will focus on the value of network-based authentication in a world of forgotten passwords, clumsy verification steps, and vulnerable SMS codes.

On the same day, at 2:55 pm, Sandeep Hinduja, Vice President and Head of Banking (Americas) at Newgen Software Inc., will discuss automating the end-to-end lending journey. As Head of Financial Services at Newgen Software, Hinduja oversees business strategy and operations across the United States and Canada.

The following day, Tuesday, Sep 9, will feature presentations on advanced authentication strategies for identity verification and the effective deployment of AI in the lending journey.

On Wednesday, Sep 10, at 1:45 pm, Jim Marous, a recognized top 5 banking and fintech influencer, will speak about the state of open banking in the US. Jim is the co-publisher of The Financial Brand, owner and publisher of the Digital Banking Report, and host of the Banking Transformed podcast. His deep insights into the banking industry and digital innovation make him a prominent figure within the banking sector.

In addition, there will be a presentation on Autopilot Lending, focusing on an AI blueprint for seamless lending journeys.

T-Mobile, a self-described "Un-carrier" headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, offers an advanced 4G LTE and nationwide 5G network to 132+ million customers. With a market capitalization of $282 billion, T-Mobile is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ exchange under the ticker TMUS.
