In a delightful development for families in the Rezhsky Municipal District, a new play and sports complex has recently been installed in the village of Pershino. The project, which was initiated by local residents, is expected to significantly improve leisure conditions for children in the area.

The play complex, maze, and sports equipment were made possible through a collaborative effort involving the Charitable Foundation of the Factory "Rezhsky", local residents, and the company. The project was also funded in part by the Sverdlovsk region's budget through participatory budgeting, with 293,000 rubles provided by the regional budget. The remaining funds, amounting to 54,000 rubles, were collected through joint efforts of the municipality, businesses, and residents, highlighting the high level of involvement and interest from villagers in improving infrastructure and creating a comfortable living environment.

The total cost of the project was 543,000 rubles. The initiative and the completion of the project have not gone unnoticed. Ruslan Sadikov, Minister of Economy and Territorial Development of Sverdlovsk Oblast, made a statement about the high level of villagers' involvement, praising their dedication to enhancing their community.

In a further show of support, the Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Denis Pasler, announced the allocation of 90 million rubles from the regional budget in 2025 to support 107 initiatives similar to this one. This announcement is a testament to the region's commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents.

The new play and sports complex is anticipated to attract families with children, providing a much-needed recreational space for the community. The success of this project serves as a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together to improve its living conditions.

A similar success story was seen in another village of the Irbitsky District, where a new children's playground was previously opened. This trend of community-driven improvements is expected to continue, with a regional competition for project selection for participatory budgeting in 2026 set to start in September.

As we move forward, it is clear that the spirit of collaboration and improvement is alive and well in the communities of the Sverdlovsk region. The opening of the play and sports complex in Pershino is a testament to this, and we can look forward to seeing more such initiatives in the future.
