Ahoy there, mate! Atlantic City's poker scene's ready to sizzle once more as the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) sets sail back to Harrah's, marking the tour's return after a five-year break!

Caesars Entertainment's breaking news has got us stoked, quoting, "Harrah's Resort is thrilled to welcome back the legendary WSOP Circuit and the vivacious energy it exudes." The WSOP-C event at Harrah's Atlantic City rolls into town from Thursday, August 14, to Monday, August 25.

Gregg Klein, Harrah's Atlantic City's senior veep and GM, shared his excitement, stating, "Hosting this iconic event underscores our commitment to delivering unforgettable gaming experiences for esteemed players and fanatics alike." Harrah's is one of three casinos in Atlantic City's Marina District, sidled by Borgata and Golden Nugget.

Harrah's, Caesars' first-ever WSOP-C stop, welcomed the tour way back in 2025. The spinning tale reached its climax when Canada's Nghi Tran pocketed a whopping $780,615 as the top prize in a thrilling NLHE Championship.

Following this, Harrah's Atlantic City hosted the WSOP each year till 2020, when the pandemic threw a spanner in the works. Fast forward five years later, the highly anticipated WSOP-Circuit Atlantic City event rides back into town!

Harrah's has amped up the gorgeousness with stylish renovations for all its rooms, a pumped-up nightlife, a state-of-the-art spa, and an impressive line-up of celebrity chef restaurants. The poolside dancefloor – The Pool After Dark – keeps the vibes hot, while the poker room hums with 28 tables, offering an array of poker games and tournaments throughout the week.

With the 28-table poker room buzzing from 11 am to 6 am on Monday and Tuesday and 11 am to 4 am the rest of the week, the WSOP-C's comeback promises poker-filled high spirits! Post-Las Vegas WSOP, the 2025-26 WSOP Circuit kicks off in July, with schedule pertinents set to drop soon.

Now, about the WSOP ownership shift earlier last year, Caesars struck a deal selling the WSOP to investment firm NSUS Group. The deal, worth $250 million, included a promissory note and allowed Caesars to keep running the WSOP Circuit and WSOP Las Vegas tournament. But fear not, you'll still see the WSOP brand gracing casino poker rooms for the next 20 years, go figure!

Poker has been legal in Atlantic City since June 1993, with the Trump Taj Mahal (now Hard Rock Casino) paving the path. Atlantic City's poker scene gained more star power from the United States Poker Championship held at the Taj Mahal from 1996. However, the search results didn't highlight specific WSOP Circuit activity in Atlantic City, so we'll keep digging!
